Our Strategy
Our strategy is to invest in high-potential SMEs in Nigeria and Ghana, supporting their development into regional sector champions
Geographic focus
CCA invests in two of West Africa’s leading economies – Nigeria and Ghana. These countries both have attractive demographics, a stable political landscape, and a history of positive macroeconomic trends – thus providing an enabling environment to build industry leading businesses
Strong Operational Value-add
CCA is an active investor, and our team is equipped to take a meaningful role in supporting the growth agenda in our portfolio companies. We back experienced management teams, but bring our expertise and networks to bear to support them as required through the investment period
Investment Stage
Our target investment range is $5 – $10m per business. CCA seeks investment opportunities in businesses that have a clear track record of success in their chosen area and are positioned on a path to scale. Our investments can support a range of growth options – including an extension of the core offering to adjacent segments
Focus Sectors
Our experience investing in and building businesses over several years has led us to identify a sub-set of priority sectors. We believe these sectors offer the opportunity to build enduring, impactful businesses at scale.
